The Green Sweater
This green sweater was a gift to my mother 57 years ago. My parents brought each of their little girls home from the hospital wearing the green sweater adn the tradition was born. Debby and larry brought each of their 3 boys home from the hospital in the green sweater. Linda and Ed brought their boys home from the hospital in the green sweater and Tim and I brought each of our 5 children home from the hospital in it. Yes even in the heat of August! The sweater has been to Idaho before. Ashley and Ryan put it on their 2 babies to bring them home. Grandma Simmons(the keeper of the sweater) sent it to Nick and Susan last month and here are the pics of Calvin in the green sweater. I brought it home to Grandma and I am sure she will soon be wrapping it up to be sent back to Idaho for the next sweet baby in September.

I love the green sweater tradition! I bet its gonna get pretty tricky in the next few years, all the cousins will start having babies.
